Lucas Vargas Zeppetello
I am a graduate student in the Atmospheric Sciences department at the University of Washington in Seattle. I am advised by David Battisti and work closely with the EcoClimate Lab that studies the impact of vegetation on global climate dynamics. Using simple models, I study land-atmosphere interaction and how summertime temperatures vary across the land surface.
I was recently awarded the James S. McDonnell Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship Award in Understanding Dynamic and Multi-scale Systems!
